SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The HR/Recruiting Assistant role is responsible for interviewing and referring applicants for Team Member and Assistant Manager positions throughout the company and attending job fairs. The HR/Recruiting Assistant must possess skill in interviewing techniques. The HR/Recruiting Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources or Recruiting preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to organization employees.
  • Coordinates with Store/Restaurant Managers to hire qualified candidates for their location.
  • Screens and Interviews Team Member and Assistant Manager applicants.
  • Attends all job fairs.
  • Coordinates background checks.
  • Coordinates onboarding and orientation process.
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers to Team Members and Assistant Managers.
  • Assists with Rutter’s career development program.
  • Responsible for Turnover and other recruiting reports.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants regarding benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to Recruiting Manager.
  • Coordinates Assistant Manager nomination process and collects required documentation.
  • Process New Hire import.
  • Downloads videos at the request of Operations.
  • Coordinates the Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) process with employees and managers.
  • Coordinates Team Member of the Month process.
  • Processes documents and information in HRIS system as needed.
  • Helps manage HRIS system and updates processes as needed.
  • Assist with departmental administrative tasks.
