  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Human Resource Recruiting Supervisor puts the firm’s needs first and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer. This person will also work with the Human Resource Manager of Talent Development. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This person is responsible for all phases of recruiting. The Human Resource Recruiting Supervisor supports the Firm’s goals and values through all professional communication and maintenance of positive working relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains and oversees the Applicant Training System (ATS).
  • Maintains and keeps up-to-date Personnel Policy Manual for all team members.
  • Supervises HR Recruiting Coordinator. (HR Recruiting Coordinator will work hand-in-hand with this position as the voice and face of recruiting for Symphona LLP.)
  • Promotes the firm in a positive light for all our key sources
  • Develops one on one relationships with Key People in the firm’s hiring sources (local colleges, vocational schools, etc.). The schools need to know our Recruiting Department at Symphona by name.
  • Developing a relationship with peers in the industry. Other firm’s HR Recruiters, National or Local Groups for HR (including RSM Alliance HR Recruiters).
  • Develops a working list of students (pipeline) where there is intentional and consistent follow up with the students.
  • Cultivate our presence on social media so we can attract experienced staff. Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator for all social media aspects.
  • Develop relationships with the Service Line Leaders, Partners, and Directors to determine hiring needs.
  • Draft annual recruiting plan working with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Draft annual recruiting budget working with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Be well versed in the most recent hiring tools (i.e., Artificial Intelligence, Linked-In, Handshake, Indeed, Zip Recruiter) for each market.
  • Be well versed in E-Verify, background checks, I-9s, etc.
  • In-depth screening of all potential candidates before introducing to Partners including checking out at least 3 references and scheduling of interviews by internal team members with candidate.
  • Develops and implements, along with assistance by the Human Resource Coordinator, annual Summer Leadership Program(s).
    Any other duties as assigned or required by immediate Supervisor or Partner in Charge.
