REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in HR or Recruitment (Advantageous)
  • Experience in customer facing roles or speaking to people via phone calls.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles
  • Good understanding of IT & Microsoft packages.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational & time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
  • Full UK driving licence & access to your own private vehicle.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Wessex Internet are excited to be seeking a HR & Recruitment Administrator to join our People Department. Reporting into the HR Manager you will be responsible for supporting both the HR & Recruitment function of the business.
You will act as a first point of contact for our staff regarding all enquiries relating to HR & supporting the HR Manager. Additionally, you will also support the Recruitment team in organising interviews & dealing with all recruitment enquiries, as well as supporting with the onboarding of all new starters. You will play a pivotal role in helping us hire effectively, keeping the hiring process running & support the growth of the business.
This role would suit someone who wants to develop their career in HR & Recruitment and gain experience providing administration. You will need to be driven and determined, super organised and thrive on variety and a busy workload.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the Recruitment Team with all administrative duties including answering emails & phone calls.
  • Scheduling interviews & trial days between hiring leads & candidates.
  • Writing & posting engaging job adverts to source the candidates.
  • Keeping the ATS updated with all relevant information.
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires. Including drafting offer letters, preparing documents and coordinating induction training and agendas.
  • Processing pre-employment checks.
  • Be first point of contact for HR related queries, liaising with the wider HR team as necessary.
  • Manage HR inbox.
  • Issuing relevant letters including probation & pay increases.
  • Complete company payroll preparation (unpaid leave, reports, timesheets).
  • Provide administrative support to HR team, including, but not limited to, drafting correspondence, managing employee and contractor records, and updating reports within the HRIS systems.
