Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are looking for a HR Services consultant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. We operate a hybrid working model where you will come into our Leeds office twice a week to collaborate with the team.
As part of the HR Services team, you’ll report into the HR Services People Lead. We deliver a seamless transactional service, supporting our colleagues with a high-volume of transactional queries and administrative tasks, assisting them through their colleague lifecycle.
Queries will cover a broad range of HR transactional queries including, HR policy queries, benefits, references, SARs, Internal Contracts and hierarchy changes. You will perform transactions following process responsibilities and within Service level agreements.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • You will identify and deliver positive, fair and appropriate solutions for colleagues, in line with HR policies and procedures whilst delivering excellent administrative support at all stages throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • You will maintain comprehensive and accurate records on the required HR systems for all queries and perform transactions and processing at pace, accurately and efficiently in line with agreed SLA’s and compliance requirements, managing your own workloads.
  • You will influence and encourage colleagues who interact with the team to utilise self-service resources and will identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • You will remain curious looking for opportunities to build your knowledge and will contribute and share ideas whilst demonstrating DLG values and behaviours when working in the team and with other HR colleagues.
  • You will identify and manage risks involved in running our business appropriate to their role, following the company risk framework.
  • You will understand the broader implications or impact of issues, actions and potential solutions, on HR Delivery, HR or the business.
  • You will support the wider HR team with the delivery of key initiatives and projects.
