Description:

HR SERVICES MANAGER - FULL TIME FIXED TERM CONTRACT TO FEB 2025 - PARRAMATTA CBD - HYBRID WORK MODEL

  • Develop and implement robust measurement frameworks to gauge performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Act as a catalyst for innovation, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in HR services delivery, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Prepare your team for their biggest challenge yet – guide our people through implementation of our first true HRIS in 2025!

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in HR services or operations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to analyse complex issues and implement effective solutions
  • Experience with HR/payroll systems and understanding of employment conditions
  • Track record of successfully managing projects in a diverse and decentralised environment

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative HR Services Manager to lead our Shared Services Team and guide them on delivering service excellence. As the HR Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of measuring and continuously improving HR Services Delivery, providing crucial support across People administration, Employee lifecycle management, and Business Compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 8 HR officers to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
  • Document and refine HR processes to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Serve as an SME regarding HR onboarding, compliance and related matters
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes to Enterprise Agreements and Awards
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to align business objectives and HR service delivery
  • Drive compliance efforts related to employee and volunteer checks
  • Act as the primary point of contact for executive and board member HR needs
  • Provide mentorship and guidance on continuous improvement initiatives
