Description:

Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $20.75 per hour
Work Location: Naperville, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work may be performed in an office, remote office, or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Serves as the first tier point-of-contact/central resource in the assigned functional area(s).
  • Addresses incoming questions and requests in a timely and effective manner via email and shared phone line.
  • Processes transactional HR tasks in their assigned functional area(s) including, but not limited to, onboarding, pre-employment, unemployment, employee data, job descriptions, work authorization, and/or HR customer service.
  • Provides ongoing assistance to HR technology users.
  • Ensures the completion and proper maintenance of all required documentation per their assigned functional area(s) for substantiation and audit purposes.
  • Collaborates with internal HR teams when specific expertise is necessary to formulate and deliver the best possible response to internal customers.
  • Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data.
  • Other duties as assigned.
