Description:
HR&OD STRATEGY - SHAPING THE FUTURE OF WORK
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team as a HR Strategy and Policy Officer to help support shaping effective HR strategies, policies, and processes to help deliver our Workforce Strategy.
The HR&OD strategy team consists of specialists dedicated to supporting strategic HR delivery and is responsible for the development and implementation of effective human resources and organisational development strategies, processes and policies to support the delivery of the council’s Workforce Strategy.
As a HR Strategy and Policy Officer, you will; provide expert solution-based advice to HR advisory colleagues on the deployment of policies, lead and support a range of HR&OD strategies and projects, working with a range of stakeholders across HR and the Council. You will also be responsible for supporting the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant with developing related policies and lead equality impact assessment panels on all new and updated HR policies, strategies and projects.
We are seeking candidates with a CIPD Level 5 qualification and/or substantial relevant experience in a HR related field. Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of employment law and experience of application to HR policies and practice alongside experience of managing a range of projects and/or initiatives from start to end with responsibility for the outcome will be essential.
