DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Human Resources Officer to provide support to the Committee of Management of Bentleigh West Kindergarten, Director and the teaching team of 6 (plus our casual pool), on a casual basis when required. Our Ideal candidate will have experience in the Human Resource area with knowledge / experience with recruitment and the VECTEA or employment awards in general. Must have or be willing to apply for a Working with Children’s check.
Human Resources Officer Summary:
The Human Resources Officer (HRO) guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services and related policies for Bentleigh West Kindergarten. The HRO will lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a high-performance and contented culture that promotes quality, productivity, goal attainment, and manages the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

The Human Resources Officer assists the President and Director with the implementation of Human Resources services, policies, and programs; reports to the BWK management committee and assists and advises committee members, staff and community regarding Human Resources issues.
