We are looking for a HR Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist responsible for all aspects of recruiting and employer branding activities for dedicated departments in Valneva Austria. It is a critical role for our company to ensure we attract, hire, and retain the most qualified employees. The HR Talent Acquisition Specialist’s main goal is to fill open positions efficiently and effectively and to support the new employees along the employee life cycle all the way to onboarding incl. administrative tasks.

  • Partner with the hiring managers to plan and define search strategies for roles in different areas of responsibility and seniority
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels (professional platforms, social media)
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Review and provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Organize interviews and active participation
  • Prepare job offers and answer queries about compensation and benefits (in close cooperation with HR Business Partners)
  • Administrative tasks regarding onboarding activities
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Continued development of employment branding measures and attendance at career fairs

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5years proven work experience as an HR Recruiter for complex roles
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders across and outside the company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work flexibly in a small and focused team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Positive and accountable personality and ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Very good English and German skills
