THE OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of human resources.
  • You have strong HR Generalist experience with a focus on leadership level partnerships.
  • Experience in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.
  • You have proven ability to create presence in the business and apply advocacy skills to position HR as a strategic business partner.
  • You excel at problem-solving skills, for example, identifying and diagnosing performance gaps and recommending solutions to close these gaps.
  • You have experience creating and embedding ongoing process efficiency and simplifying operational and administrative tasks.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.

Responsibilities:

Deliver HR strategies and services to effectively build the organizational capability required to achieve business goals and imperatives within their client group. The HRBP will provide thought leadership in the development of organizational capability through effective change management, talent management, employee relationship management and performance management.

  • Translates company culture into supportive organizational & individual behaviors & utilizes HR practices, processes to advance the culture.
  • Leads and ensures utilization and effectiveness of integrated people management processes to grow talent, drive performance, and improve employee engagement.
  • Develops insights from people data (engagement survey, exit interview, etc.) to inform talent acquisition, development and retention strategies.
  • Applies performance and development expertise to deliver better ways to develop employees and raise the bar on performance.
  • Leads core people processes including employee relations and ensure consistent approach to service delivery.
  • Ensure personal credibility and impact through influencing others, leading people, and communicating clearly.
  • Create and maintain relationships with other HR functions through collaboration and teamwork and support project work as needed.
  • Partner with leaders and employees to advance our diverse, equitable and inclusive environment that allows our people and business to grow and thrive.
  • Integrate new work practices through appropriate change methodology.
