Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, a mine under construction in northern Canada and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Five (5) years’ HRIS and HR administration experience;
  • Previous experience and knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (SF) best practices, processes, and methodologies;
  • Previous HRIS implementation experience required such as experience with data migration, system testing, and HRIS integrations;
  • Previous experience developing and executing HR reporting required;
  • Previous experience with change management activities and training delivery required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; and
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of SAP/SF modules in collaboration with Back River HR team and Corporate implementation team throughout the project by managing data, validating information, conducting tests, delivering training and change management activities, and supporting the pilot and rollout phases;
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the system post-implementation while also contributing to the development of B2Gold Nunavut’s SAP Human Resources applications plan;
  • Consolidate feedback on any issues or discrepancies from the Back River team and liaise with Corporate implementation team accordingly;
  • Assist with the ongoing standardization of job architecture, naming conventions, data mapping and scripted HR processes and workflows;
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users and administrators, troubleshoot issues, and address inquiries related to the SAP/SuccessFactors HRIS system;
  • Ensure work is done according to project practices, create and share relevant procedures for business needs. Analyze and document HR processes for internal audit controls;
  • Contribute to development of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators. Maintain documentation, user guides, and FAQs to support system adoption and usage;
  • Update HRIS and related systems, including Masterfile maintenance, ensuring accuracy of records; and
  • Assist with the administration of employee programs, including benefits enrollment and changes, onboarding, payroll, etc.
