Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support and assistance to users and IT Help Desk for HRIS-related issues, responding quickly to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our HRIS systems, including features, functionalities, and best practices, to provide accurate and effective support to users.
  • Investigate and analyze reported problems, working closely with users to understand their needs, identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT and other HRIS team members to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
  • Maintain integrations mapping and investigate potential integrations-related issues.
  • Assign security roles in Workday.
  • Perform system audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee records through data entry.
  • Create new locations, job profiles and supervisory organizations in Workday.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems documentation using Workday best practices while considering the impact on existing applications and business processes.
  • Collaborate within the Workday Community and area user groups to research and resolve issues and to proactively remain informed about Workday changes, alerts, and enhancements.
  • Other HRIS related duties and special projects, as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a technical support or client support role, preferably in an HR or technology department.
  • Working knowledge of HR information systems. Workday experience an asset.
  • General understanding of HR business processes.
  • College Degree Diploma (DEC or DEP) in a related discipline.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve and analyze.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English. Intermediate knowledge of English is required, as the position involves working with colleagues across Canada and Australia.
  • Ability to work with various priorities and maintain tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Strong self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
