WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Multiplex NSW is currently seeking an HSE Coordinator to join our Sydney team and take your safety career in construction to new heights. As an initial placement, you will join one of our exciting projects in the area. Be part of iconic ventures and working within collaborative teams which promise to offer an unparalleled experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide support to project teams in Health Safety and Environmental matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Multiplex WHS&E requirements by monitoring and reporting on subcontractor WHS&E performance through audit and inspection regimes.
  • Develop and maintain records and databases, and work with the project team to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Interpret legislation and certification system requirements and implement them into practice on the project.
  • Guide junior members of the Multiplex team and lead by example in demonstrating the importance of safety.
    Key Skillset Required:
    To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, partnering with stakeholders on site. You will work closely with subcontractors, so the ability to monitor and report on their performance is essential.
    Sound knowledge of applicable legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and other relevant documentation is necessary. Along with a someone who has proven experience within the building/construction industry who is qualified with Cert IV in OH&S (or equivalent).
    Working closely with the senior site team, you will receive support for your professional development and growth at Multiplex.
