Description:

Our Client is a leader in the Energy Manufacturing industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an HSE Officer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Responsibilities

  • Report and assist section head in safety and fire-related matters.
  • Responsible for routine safety checks in subsidiaries and propose corrective actions to section heads when needed.
  • Inform and update relevant managers of any machinery, equipment, or process in subsidiaries that pose injury risks and recommend appropriate measures.
  • Promote safe and healthy working conditions through education, training, drills, and activities.
  • Act as the plant’s fire and hazmat leader.
  • Act as a fire and safety training when needed.
  • Approve permits and serve as a confined space and work-at-height assessor.
  • Support daily oversight of HSE Management system and physical inspections of plant facilities.
  • Execute and follow up on safety promotions and programs.
  • Manage legal register and ensure compliance updates.

Requirements

  • Min WSH Level C or a degree in WSH.
  • Certified confined space and work-at-height assessor.
  • Min 2 years of safety experience in manufacturing, logistic and marine industries.
