QUALIFICATIONS
These are the preferred experiences that qualify you for the role:
- Experience supporting health, safety, environment, and human resources (HSE & HR) corporate functions. Ideally, in the construction sector, with an understanding of civil and landscape construction being a big asset.
- Post secondary education in health, safety, hygiene and/or human resources.
- Understanding of HSE & HR legislations with a proficiency in researching these works.
- Experience drafting and/or editing HSE & HR policies, procedures, practices, and templates.
- Experience mining, analyzing, organizing, and presenting data.
- Experience with tasks related to inspections, investigations, and auditing.
- Experience coordinating, administering, and tracking training.
- Experience coordinating and administering employee recruitment, induction, and discharge.
- Accomplished user of MS office suite. Experience with MS Forms, OneDrive, and SharePoint an asset.
- Experience maintaining social media accounts and websites is an asset.
- Excellent record keeping and inventory management skills.
