REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Leadership/Management qualifications (Diploma Level minimum)
  • Work health & safety (Diploma Level minimum)
  • Technical Qualifications (specific to industry)

  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook (Intermediate)

  • 2+ years HSE experience or 3+ years in a similar role (e.g. HSE Lead or HSE Consultant)

  • A background in Oil and Gas, Petro-chemical or similar industry experience with transferable skills.
  • Return to work coordinator (desirable)
  • Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Auditing and investigation qualifications (highly regarded)

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to conitnued growth of the business, we are seeking a highly experienced HSE Lead to join our team based at the refinery in Lytton (25min from Brisbane CBD). The primary purpose of the role is to lead and develop HSE across all areas of the contract.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Provide HSEQ Leadership to CR - drive emphasis of leading indicators and behavioural based safety.

  • Develop and lead the implementation and ongoing performance of the safety programs and initiatives.

  • Conduct incident investigations in line with CR investigation procedures and support client lead investigations when required.
  • Actively support the site manager, site coordinators, Supervisors and client representatives with all HSE matters
  • Conduct and actively participate in site wals and talks, audits, inspections with CR and client management.
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Review and develop procedures and standard operating instructions as required.
  • Participate in CR and client meetings as required.
  • Injury management such as RTW and suitable duties plans.
  • Mentoring qnd development of HSE Advisors and health and safety representatives.
