Description:
HSE MANAGER
will lead, manage, monitor and report on the HSE performance of an asset portfolio in a country, to ensure that harm is prevented and the requisite HSE & Process Safety management systems are developed, implemented, monitored, and enforced to deliver compliance with HSE legal requirements, ACWA, NOMAC standards and contractual obligations by the plant, its employees.
SKILLS
- Thorough knowledge of international standards for management of Health, Safety, Social and Environmental issues plus IFC and EBRD Performance Standards/Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience
- Good relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to take decisions and operate in ambiguity
- Thorough understanding of the business value chain
- Ability to manage and work with people of all cultures
