Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, engineering, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Completed study in Safety Engineering (Netherlands Hogere Veiligheidskunde - HVK).
  • 5 years of experience in HSE role.
  • Experience with HSE systems in a cGMP or regulated environment (background in radiopharmaceuticals, sterile operations, or highly potent materials is an advantage).
  • Considerable experience on building and sustaining an injury and error-free culture with advanced knowledge of multiple compliance areas.
  • Written and oral skills in English language.
  • Certification as a subject matter expect (SME) within HSE is an advantage.
  • 7+ years of experience in HSE role, preferably in an industrial international work environment.
  • Experience in top tier pharmaceutical company at drug product (DP) level.
  • Experience in successful implementing of HSE programs within multinational organizations.
  • Written and oral skills in both English and Dutch language.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of an injury-free work environment that protects employees from hazards.
  • Help conducting and formalize (either independently or with others) the mandatory risk inventory and evaluation (RI&E).
  • Advise, consult, and cooperate with the company doctor and the works council or staff representation on working conditions.
  • Implement health and safety measures at work.
  • Develop Health and Safety Plans, create and review health and safety procedures and supporting training.
  • Prevent and / or investigate health and safety incidents.
  • Technically support the company emergency response measures and emergency response officers (BHV’ers).
  • Technically support the Radio Protection Unit (RPU) and collaborate with Operations and Technical teams to safely manage radioactive materials from raw materials to product and waste.
  • Acting as a role model in HSE and ensuring alignment between the global HSE policies and the local needs.
  • Support the HSE Governance and oversees HSE support, programs and initiatives, including reporting and CAPA planning and execution.
  • Subject Matter leader that develops alignment in the discipline through corporate interactions and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
  • Formulate effective risk management strategies and supply expert guidance to ensure comprehensive risk control and reduce the risk portfolio.
  • Support and aid line managers to comply with local health, safety and environmental legislation and global documents.
  • Facilitate the implementation and execution of procedures, standards and policies of Health, Safety and Environment, to prevent accidents, disease prevention and protect environmental.
  • Ensures prompt reporting and escalation of incidents at site level.
  • Supports root cause investigations and lessons learned sharing of incidents.
  • Supports prompt and right quality CAPA implementation.
