We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced person to take the role of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Coordinator for Eastern Europe Cluster. The HSEQ Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety programs and systems to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the HSEQ strategic plan in alignment with the global HSEQ and EE cluster strategic priorities to ensure all Alfa Laval facilities and activities are in compliance with all Alfa Laval group policies and full compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Lead and deliver health and safety initiatives to further develop and instill the safety culture within the region with ultimate ambition of having zero injuries by identifying improvement areas to enhance the health, safety, environmental impact, quality and efficiency of service operations and office facilities
  • Lead and drive the quality management and sustainability programs including ISO certification and Net Zero through carbon neutrality and circularity
  • Lead and participate in the risk assessment and the periodical audit of all facilities including the follow-up and implementation of all needed actions
  • Lead the verification and reporting of all HSEQ data in the relevant systems
  • Lead and organize the HSEQ committee and the quarterly meetings
  • Reporting to Cluster Management on the state of the HSEQ and discoveries
  • Coordinating the work of local H&S specialists and make necessary alignments across the Cluster (no direct legal responsibilities for all the countries in the Cluster, except for the SC where the role is settled in)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a health, safety and quality management role, preferably in industrial machinery manufacturing, engineering field
  • Safety first mindset embodied in everyday situations and attention to details
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Very good communication, training skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to lead and influence a diverse workforce
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental health, or a related field (nice to have)
  • Fluency in English
  • Open for travelling at least 20% of the time
