ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
Represent and enhance visible and engaged management by weekly inspections in field Follow up HSSE related topics and issues related to topside work. Cooperate and involve HSSE advisors at relevant areas to identify and help in HSSE Work and identify improvements
On own initiative assist and coach personnel in HSSE related issues at the construction site.
- Be proactive and work actively with risk management and risk awareness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HSSE activities at the construction site.
- Report undesired incident
- Guide in use of HSSE tools (Synergi, Control of Work APP)
- Guide personnel in use of HSSE rules.
- Contribute to campaigns and get project information out.
- Analyze and monitor HSSE trends.
- Execute inspections and follow up actions.
- Participate and initiate risk evaluations before – and after work operations where improvements can be discussed and suggested.
- Register at least 1 HSSEQ walks daily while present at yard.
- Contribute to increased reporting of observations, by actively coach in unwanted hazards and positive observations. Promote reporting culture.
- Assist in identify corrective actions when needed or agreed.
- Follow up open observations.
QUALIFICATIONS
HSSE education or technical education related to steel structure production
(engineering, welding, NDT, etc.)
- Experience with HSSE at construction site, like shipbuilding yards.
- Good knowledge of production and completion activities.
- Use of software tools.
- Literate in signs, drawing, documentation, reports, etc.
- Speaks fluent English.
- Norwegian and Polish are wished languages as well.
- Caring attitude and operational leadership skills are crucial.
