ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

• Provide professional HSSE advice to the project teams.
• Identification of project HSSE requirements and identification of HSSE risk and opportunities
• Prepare and implement HSSE program and activity plans.
• Support on identification of risks and hazards using qualitative and other systematic analysis methodologies.
• Participate and/or facilitates risk assessments related to project activities (HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, etc.)
• Ensure that verification activities are duly planned and carried out.
• Participate in audits and inspections.
• Follow up of HSSE incidents incl. investigations.
• Participate and drive cross discipline HSSE initiatives.
• Participate in procurement and tendering activities to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
• Assess implementation of contractors’ management system
• HSSE follow up of contractor.
• Prepare safety statistics and all relevant reporting internally and to the authorities.
• Facilitate and prepare input to audit and verification program, and participate in audits, as part of the Company’s duty to “see to”.
• Oversee competence management system for the department covering safety training, incidents, inspections, and audit.
• Manage HSSE lessons learned database by ensuring all key learnings are communicated and implemented

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master Degree i Health, Safety & Environment or Other
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, preferably in both Norwegian and English
• Years of Experience: 10-15 år
