As Human Capital Advisor, you will play a crucial role working closely with the Human Capital team. You will be defeating the status quo and will guide, assist, and advise our leaders and employees along their journey while supporting the ambitious corporate strategies.

What will your everyday look like?

  • Team up with Service Center leaders to execute Human Capital and talent strategies, providing Human Capital support & guidance as it relates to strategic, tactical, and operational issues;
  • Be the first point of contact to client groups in the delivery of corporate Human Capital programs;
  • Aid people leaders to manage, mobilize and develop their teams through a positive work climate, clear objectives and performance management discussions;
  • Assist in the design and implementation of Human Capital policies, programs, and initiatives that support the organization’s goals and values;
  • Analyze Human Capital data and indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Support and monitor our Health & Safety programs at the Service Center;
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into workplace complaints, such as harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and other employee relations issues;
  • Oversee the administration of employee life cycle;
  • Foster corporate culture by promoting social activities.

What you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Certified Human Resources Professional designation (e.g., CRHA) – preferred;
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a Human Resources advisory capacity;
  • Experience supporting multiple client groups and ability to network across functional teams and build solid client relationships;
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial & rapidly changing environment;
  • Solid work ethic, takes initiative, a high respect for confidentiality, and sound professional judgment;
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of employment standards and employment law in various provinces across Canada;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required; HRIS software (Workday, an asset);
  • Bilingual – English and French (proficient in both languages to support leaders across Canada).
