This role requires an active, fully adjudicated DoD Secret clearance and is located in Huntsville, AL.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Strong background in Human Capital Strategy, workforce analytics/strategic workforce planning
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint)
  • Experienced in HR Operations, HR Metrics and Benchmarking

Preferred:

  • Federal and/or DoD Human Resources experience highly desired
  • Ability to deliver verbal and/or written reports and maintains historical files after task execution
  • Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL) or equivalent capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

Support our client’s HR Directorate’s wellness program and in developing Federal human capital planning, management, and development of strategies that support client human capital strategic plans, including the collection, analysis and presentation of human capital metrics, trends, and workforce projections.

  • Integrating human capital planning with workforce planning processes.
  • Evaluating authorizations, FTE’s, attrition & retirement rates, skills and competency gaps of mission critical occupations, and developing recommendations and strategies for mitigating identified risks.
  • Conducting and preparing comprehensive human capital studies, reports, and briefings to support strategic workforce planning efforts and publication of associated documents.
  • Supporting execution of training efforts to support workforce planning and human capital strategy initiatives.
  • Preparing draft responses, coordinating, and submitting technical information for taskings within the established suspense to the Government lead.
  • Attending meetings and seminars at government request; providing an analysis of the event to the government lead.
  • Executing quick response taskers regarding data analysis, trends or projections as it relates to employee characteristics, organizational demographics, profile, and other descriptive criteria in guidelines.
  • Supporting special programs and projects involving stakeholder requirements.
  • Supporting the Human Capital Strategic Plan Special Programs with communications and program development, implementation, tracking, updating and reporting. Efforts may include, but are not limited to:
  • Telework - Maintaining, analyzing, and evaluating usage. Processing requests, monitoring usage/compliance, and notifications to management and employees of new agreement requirements.
  • The Agency’s employee wellness initiatives and activities
  • The Agency’s Retention and Work-Life balance initiatives
