Description:
HUMAN RESOURCES/ ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR
NuVue Foods is a leader in solutions and services across the packaged fresh and frozen food industries, providing large and small convenient store chains, box stores, and national foodservice companies with ready to eat solutions. We are currently seeking a Human Resource/Account Payable Administrator for support in our Human Resource and Accounting Department. This individual will be part of a collaborative culture where everyone’s input is valued. The continuing expansion of our facility provides continuing personal and professional growth opportunities for the right candidate.
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Status: Full Time / 40-45 Hours per week required (9am – 5pm)
Job Overview: The HR/AP Administrator is responsible for assisting both HR and Accounting functions and records; the job duties include but are not limited the following:
- Screening applicants to obtain the most relevant education and experience that aligns with company’s employment qualifications.
- Coordinating interviews and onboarding to meet management schedules.
- Tracking employee attendance and drafting warnings and writeups.
- Presenting new hire orientations and employee onboarding into ADP Workforce Now.
- Timecard Management and Payroll Preparation.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Scan and apply invoices into company expenses in QuickBooks.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Familiar in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Help to maintain a positive work environment.
- Solid administrative and organizational skills
- Some knowledge of HR/people systems (experience using ADP is a plus but not a requirement)
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well in diverse environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills: ability to manage ambiguity with an open mind and positive attitude.
- Capability to use sound judgment, professionalism, maturity, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred but NOT required.
- A minimum of one year working in a Human Resources or related field preferred.
