Umhlanga. Opportunity exists for Junior HR Administrator with relevant HR and Payroll admin experience to join upmarket Hospitality group. Will suit organised, meticulous candidate who has handled employee records and HR documentation. Human Resource qualification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide all information required for monthly Payroll to Finance Consultant (e.g. new hires, terminations, overtime, commission, salary advances and staff loans etc.)
- Regulatory submissions (including IRP5, COID, STATS SA, UIF)
- Managing electronic timekeeping system or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets
- Monitor and track employee leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Recruitment and onboarding: liaising with recruitment agents for vacancies within the company, set up interviews, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Employee relations: support in the administrative requirements relating to employee relations issues and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture
- Administration: maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation, prepare HR-related reports, and contribute to data analysis e.g. monitoring disciplinary action reporting
