Human Resource Business Partner
Full-time Permanent
Location: Brampton, 100% in Office
Hourly: $32.00 to 36.05/hour

The HRBP will assist with the maintenance and delivery of HR related programs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative services to the management team and employees in the areas of human resources (benefits, employee relations, health and safety, training, recruitment and compensation) by responding to inquires
  • Ensure employees and managers follow proper company policies, procedures and payroll reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for coordinating the internal and external recruitment process by creating job postings, screening resumes and conducting interviews.
  • Responsible for benefit administration to ensure all additions and changes are kept current, and respond to employee inquires.
  • Facilitate and participate in the Joint Health and Safety process by conducting inspections, attending meetings, accident investigation, completing all WSIB correspondence and attend ongoing Health and Safety training.
  • Responsible for conducting new employee orientation and coordinating ACE training program for all employees.

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Post-Secondary diploma in a HR-related discipline or equivalent of a minimum 3 to 5 years related experience.
  • Must have employee relations experience and employment standards laws.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, and HRIS/Payroll reporting systems (Workday/Kronos).
  • Employee relations experience is a must!
