Description:
SOUTHCOAST HEALTH IS LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME (ENTRY-LEVEL) HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
This entry level position supports the human resources department. Under supervision of the Human Resources Director provides administrative support to the human resources team as well as assist in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in screening applications and match applicants’ profile and skills according to position requirements.
- Assist with telephone pre-screens and reference checks for potential employees.
- Assist with skills test and background screens.
- Assist with data entry for new hires.
- Attend job fairs in community to attract healthcare team members.
- Review and manage MOU’s and Certificate of Liability coverage from partnered colleges.
- Perform routine audits of files.
- Obtain and records clinical staff certification and compliance requirements, reports, delinquencies to Managers and Directors on a monthly basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ability to plan and organize tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience with a HRIS database preferred.
- Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources with preferable knowledge of healthcare.
- Must possess exemplary oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and highly proficient with computers and office equipment.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Human Resource Management. General Business, preferred. One to two years’ experience in the Human Resource field or any similar combination of education and experience.
