As a HR Generalist you will be responsible for:

  • Basically you’re performing HR-related duties on a professional level as you work closely with senior HR management in supporting Catholic Charities. This position is tasked with some or all of the following functional areas: onboarding, recruitment, training, compliance, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, payroll/benefits administration, and employment law compliance. Administrative tasks; meeting minutes, record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. We juggle a lot, so our team must remain extremely organized while demonstrating the skills of an insightful person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. All employees must be sensitive to the mission of the organization, employee goodwill and the needs of the agency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and 3 years of HR generalist experience, or a master’s degree in HR management and one year of experience in human resource generalist role. SHRM-CP certification can be submitted for 1 year of experience. Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations.
