Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This individual will serve a key function in providing comprehensive Human Resource services to Aero Alliance (JV between GE & BH) employees, including supporting employee lifecycle programs, general human resource programs, and policy and process execution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college plus 3 years of experience as an HR coordinator or relevant HR experience (or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience as an HR coordinator or relevant HR experience)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Workday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and overseeing the design, development, and management of “first 90 days” Global Onboarding program.
- Provides reporting on training completion, particularly annual compliance courses.
- In consultation with the HR Partner, manages and resolves employee relations issues by assisting in conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations related to policy violations and/or misconduct and recommends appropriate action.
- Works closely with the HR team members to identify business gaps and lead process improvement efforts.
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
- Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to develop, implement and execute recruiting plans.
- Applies knowledge and experience in identifying opportunities with existing technology to further support, simplify and automate processes and enhance the experience.
- Coordinates employee engagement activities and functions such as recognition events, team building and community programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
