Description:

Hire Resolve is currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Human Resource Practitioner to join our client’s team in Mpumalanga. Our client operates in the steel industry and is seeking someone with experience in this sector. As a Human Resource Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing HR support and driving HR initiatives in the company. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our client in the steel industry and further develop your HR skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.Com Degree in HR Management or related subject field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of handling or managing trade unions or factory shop stewards matters at the floor level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs
  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
