Responsibilities:

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our Human Resources team at our Edmonton branch. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and play a key role in understanding and optimizing the organization’s processes. They will have strong communication and organization skills, coupled with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Support the filing and ongoing upkeep of HR records, ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of data.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for corporate and trades new hires.
  • Manage a high volume of onboarding tasks, particularly during spring and fall turnaround seasons.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills while having strong attention to detail to manage a full workload.
  • Coordinate scheduling for pre-employment, pre-access, and post-incident testing.
  • Assist the department in preparing and processing purchase orders.
  • Provide assistance for in-house and external departmental activities and job/career fairs as needed.
  • Prepare routine office correspondence, such as employee announcements and confirmation letters.
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with records management for the department.
  • Support and assist with special projects as assigned by the department.
  • Perform other duties related to the general administration of the Human Resources department as required.
