Description:
Emeco have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team in our Osborne Park head office.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field,
- 2 years or more experience as a HR Advisor, preferably with some experience within the mining, resources, or manufacturing sector.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the confidence to work with all business levels,
- Effective problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and hands on can-do attitude,
- Experience interpreting Awards and the Australian Fair Work Act,
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with conflicting priorities,
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word) and experience with HR information systems and tools,
- Able to work as part of a team and build inter-team effectiveness.
- Initiative, ownership, integrity, and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret employee contractual terms and conditions including relevant Awards and rosters,
- Manage and coordinate training activities and initiatives,
- Assist in maintaining employee records using various information systems (Chris21, Martian Logic, and Rapid Induct),
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse and apply HR metrics to underpin strong decision-making,
- Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding,
- Contribute to all aspects of HR policy and process improvements; and
- Provision of a high standard of HR service delivery to the specific needs of the regions and greater business.
