POSITION SUMMARY

Provides comprehensive human resources services for an assigned Health Service Delivery Area, including contract interpretation, collective agreement administration, selection advice, performance and change management advice, grievance investigation, dispute resolution facilitation and third party hearings. Provides input into the development of human resources policy, services and programs, and works in conjunction with corporate human resources services to plan, develop and implement strategic objectives and operational plans for the assigned Health Service Delivery Area.
Starting salary will be approximately from $86,398 to $107,997 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
Terrace The thriving community of Terrace is northern living at its best. Snow-capped mountains, pristine glacier-fed rivers, lakes, and streams all add to the beauty of this community. The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700. There are nine elementary schools, four secondary schools, and Northwest Community College and a UNBC campus. Check out Terrace where there is always something new to experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, and
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of human resources experience in a large, complex unionized environment, or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Knowledge of human resources best practices.
