Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager or designee, has operational responsibilities for the daily functions of human resources programs, such as recruitment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, compensation, benefits, employee relations, labor relations, training and organizational development. Provides advice, assistance, and follow-up to departments, employees, and/or members of the general public in the application of specified policies, procedures, and documentation. Coordinates the resolution and/or referral of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries. Develops, expedites, and maintains files, records, and other documents as needed. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR HR ANALYST I:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of human resources experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR HR ANALYST 2:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Additional year of human resources experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR HR ANALYST 3:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Additional two years of human resources experience.
- Must possess or obtain and maintain a Professional Certification in Human Resources from SHRM, HRCI or IPMA-HR within one year of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, or related field
- Human Resources experience in the public sector.
