Description:

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree with major course work in Business Analytics, Data Science, Data Visualization, Statistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Mathematics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • One plus years of increasingly responsible, professional full –time experience compiling and analyzing data for business or program management.
  • Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and experience, being solutions oriented in working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, data assumptions, and challenges.
  • Experience compiling and maintaining data/information; experience extrapolating, interpreting, and manipulating data from systems or databases, statistical modeling, and statistical distributions.
  • Experience coordinating the timely submission of reports; experience preparing summary reports that communicate program status and recommending follow-up actions when insufficiencies are found.
  • Demonstrated competence in creating data visualization models and supporting tool development efforts across the department using analytical tools such as SQL, R, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software related to Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Ceridian, PeopleSoft or Oracle is preferred.
  • Ability to synthesize and summarize technical information; experience visualizing data and communicating complex information to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated computer software proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including experience building pivot tables, V-lookups, multi-variable formulas, macros, and graphs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; managing time; balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

ROLE

This position will support the Human Resources program with compiling, analyzing, and presenting data in areas related to talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, performance management, and organization development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare effective and high-quality reports and presentations to clearly communicate findings, insights and recommendations related to Human Resources data; design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards for Human Resources metrics.
  • Maintain Human Resources systems and records; ensure data integrity by performing routine audits to job, position, EEO, and benefits data in human resources systems (Dayforce/Ceridian/Tyler Munis); create and update Position Control Numbers in support of recruiting and budget control efforts.
  • Contribute to and provide innovative data sharing approaches to various programs/projects such as employee surveys, general employee metrics, annual budget, EEO program, and implementation of a new ERP/payroll system; prepare ad hoc and monthly reporting requests.
  • Participate in classification and compensation studies including the preparation and implementation of program changes arising from these studies; prepare data sets and reports that support the ongoing maintenance of equitable pay practices; respond to classification and compensation requests for outside entities.
  • Prepare data sets and census data files for the ongoing administration and compliance of the benefits program; assist with weekly and monthly activities related to enrollments, billings, records management, and coordination with Payroll; participate in compiling and auditing employee benefit information used for marketing efforts to obtain insurance coverage and benefit services.
  • Develop data files to support annual merit process; compile and process approved compensation transactions; compile and audit employee data, and responsible for data quality assurance.
  • Update and maintain employee information in an online performance management system; prepare various reports.
  • Prepare and maintain data sets to support the staffing, compensation, and benefits components of the annual program budget.
