JOB SUMMARY

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level two Human Resources Analyst position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Analyst to support a variety of HR functions and initiatives aimed at optimizing organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a background in Air Force military and civilian personnel management systems. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving organizational change and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the Department of Defense, displaying a wealth of expertise and dedication to the mission
  • Possess a profound understanding of both military and civilian personnel management systems, ensuring the effective use of human resources to achieve organizational objectives
  • Offer strategic recommendations to senior leadership, using insights to optimize mission success and operational effectiveness
  • Skillfully distill complex information into easily understandable concepts, facilitating clear communication and informed decision-making
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges, exhibiting a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adeptly articulating concepts, plans, and proposals to diverse audiences
  • Employ robust critical thinking skills to analyze situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
  • Provide comprehensive administration, delivery, and maintenance of military and civilian personnel management principles, tailored to meet the unique requirements of military departments and organizations
  • Collaborate within military and civilian personnel systems, contributing to recruitment and placement, human resource development, and performance management initiatives
  • Support professional and career development training programs, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and compliance with regulatory guidelines to enhance personnel readiness and effectiveness
  • Leveraging expertise in Air Force military and civilian personnel management systems to develop, deliver, manage, and maintain military human resources information systems. This includes overseeing the implementation and utilization of HRIS platforms to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA (preferred), although equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Key Skills/Experience Required for Interview Selection ONLY
  • Strong understanding of military/civilian personnel management systems
  • Provide recommendations to leadership to ensure mission success
  • Administers, delivers, maintains, advises, and adapts basic concepts, principles, and theories of military and civilian personnel to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements of military departments and organizations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
