Description:
HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST
We are urgently hiring a Human Resources Analyst for our client, a food manufacturer located just outside Kitchener. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing HR data to gain efficiencies and to improve quality and access of information. Further, they are responsible identifying needs in HR systems and processes and project managing the development and implementation of process improvement plans.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience or related experience
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or other related field
- CHRP designation preferred
- Experience in Power Bi an asset but will train
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating the ability to exercise mature judgment, organization and prioritization
- Demonstrated change management and conflict resolution skills
- Solid organization skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines required
- Knowledge in statistical methods (i.e. regression analysis, forecasting & modeling, etc.) would be an asset
- Experience with Transact SQL or xml an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify new and innovative ways to utilize systems to gain efficiencies and automation
- Be an expert and champion in our HRIS systems including Dayforce, Workflowgen, Prevue, and Alchemy including liaising with support and recommending system use to HR team
- Project manage and lead Human Resources new process initiatives and tools through to implementation, including creating training documents and training others
- Gather new process or system requirements from the HR team to recommend and build new tools
- Assist with the implementation of Dayforce new system releases and applications including participating in development piloting and testing
- Responsible for HR tools in Power Bi, creating dashboards for the HR team as needed
- Creation and execution of new workflows for HR department including post audits and monitoring of processes and actions
- Actively participate in the Workflowgen team
- Train other HR employees on how to use systems or for new tools and features
- Forecast and maintain staffing headcounts and report on buffer and vacancies – working with the Talent & OD Manager and different teams on staffing level changes
- Responsible for maintaining our foreign recruitment staffing forecast – updating leadership weekly
- Identify and develop key KPI scorecards and dashboards to drive desired business outcomes with HR and Operations teams annually
- Identify and develop metrics to measure success and ROI of HR projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain ad hoc reports for all areas of HR and other departments on key current/historical trends that support business needs & requirements
- Prepare and interpret data as required providing insights and recommendations for the HR team
