But at the Science Museum of Virginia, we’re pretty happy with Human Resources because it’s straightforward and simple. It’s about people (humans) and making sure they have the resources they need to perform their jobs and be fulfilled in what they do.
And we’re looking for a talented professional to support our HR team to make sure our people are properly resourced. See what we did there?
The Human Resources Analyst will handle the onboarding process for new employees, process employee transactions, and serve as the agency’s payroll coordinator and subject matter expert (SME) on HRIS such as Cardinal, PageUp, COVLC, SignNOW, etc. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position will respond to and resolve issues ranging from simple to moderate complexity before escalating more complex matters to senior members in HR. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully strike the balance between strategic and operational HR excellence while being able to convey the “why behind the how.”
