DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Administration Assistant who thrives in assisting others to join our team. As a Human Resources and Benefits Administration Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our HR department in managing employee benefits programs. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our employees receive their well-deserved benefits in a timely and accurate manner. If you are passionate about helping employees understand their benefits options, excel in administrative tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong ability to connect with people, customer service skills and desire to help
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in benefits administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, relevant certification, or a related field preferred
    Wage:
    $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Depending on Experienc

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits
  • Process and maintain accurate employee benefit records and ensure that they are compliant with company policies and procedures
  • Communicate with employees regarding benefit eligibility, enrollment periods, and coverage options
  • Assist in the coordination of open enrollment activities and provide support to employees during the enrollment process
  • Collaborate with HR team to resolve benefits-related issues and provide exceptional customer service to employees
  • Collaborate with external benefit providers to ensure smooth administration of benefits programs
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in benefits regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimize benefits offerings
