Are you looking to begin your career in Human Resources whilst studying for your Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship at Exeter College?We are currently seeking an HR Apprentice to join our team. You will work closely with our HR professionals to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in HR and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Enable the Trust to realise its mission to ‘Transform lives, strengthen communities and make the world a better place by supporting the Shared Services HR Service to provide HR administration to the Trust.

  • Working under the instruction and guidance of the HR Administration Manager, provide customer focused, solution based, effective and efficient HR support
  • Provide a wide range of HR administrative functions for Shared Services and our schools, including supporting with placing adverts, safer recruitment checks, contractual documentation, photocopying, filing
  • Support the HR team in responding to general HR queries
  • Establish constructive relationships with colleagues
  • Follow clear instructions for the role
  • Contacts will be straight forward
  • Support colleagues to familiarise themselves with their role
  • Undertake work which is carried out within clearly defined rules of procedures
  • Make decisions which have limited or short-term effects on immediate colleagues, students or members of the community.
  • Work where tasks are interchanged but the program is not normally interrupted
  • Will be competent following initial induction in role

Hours: 37.00 per week

Progression onto the HR L5 Apprenticeship if applicable.
Training Provided:
You will achieve a Level 3 HR Apprenticeship. You will attend college 1 day a week during term time, but have frequent visits and support by a dedicated assessor.
Additional Information:
You will be based at the St Luke’s Campus, Exeter.
Maths and English at grade 4 or above/equivalent
