Description:
SUMMARY
Reviews applicants for employment, processes application forms, maintains communication with recruiting managers and candidates, and assists Human Resource Manager and administration as needed by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Recruiting Responsibilities:
Duties to include (but not limited to): posting jobs, responding to applicants, checking references, updating website postings and placing advertisements, applicant tracking and reporting.
New Employee Onboarding:
Duties: Collaborating with Hiring Managers to determine wage, initiating background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical; processing ID badges; new employee paperwork.
Employee Maintenance:
Tracks and processes employee evaluations; sends employee birthday cards; reviews and edits job descriptions; involved with personnel policy maintenance; serves as a backup to the Human Resources Manager. Creates and/or maintains multiple personnel reports in Excel, Word, and ATS.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Navigate multiple websites and software, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and some Power Point. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school, preferred; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
