Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience as an HR or administrative assistant, coordinator, or similar role required.
  • Associate degree in human resources or business management a plus
  • Maintain any certification applicable to job functions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient with human resource information system (HRIS) and applicant tracking system (ATS) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, conducting initial candidate assessments, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Facilitate the distribution of offer letters upon approval by the HR Manager.
  • Register new hires for pre-employment testing including drug screens and background checks.
  • Coordinate and schedule New Hire Orientation for new employees.
  • Verify and maintain compliance with I-9 regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HR database and applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources Department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Support HR projects by conducting research, preparing documentation, and assisting with project coordination and implementation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits Open Enrollment.
  • Respond to common inquiries from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures; escalate complex issues to the Human Resources Manager as needed.
  • Track employee evaluations, including 90-day assessments, quarterly conversations, and annual performance reviews.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
