Description:

We’re looking for dedicated team members to join Orange County’s largest nonprofit developer of high-quality affordable housing and services that transform lives and strengthen communities.
Location: Irvine, CA
Status: Hourly, Part Time - up to 25 hours/week
Wage: $20/hour

LEVEL OF EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET:

  • Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees
  • Proficient knowledge of all programs included in Office 365, especially Outlook.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Internet for research and work assignments.
  • Must have enthusiasm and a team building spirit
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to detect errors and focus on details.
  • Must be committed to, and find passion in, Jamboree’s mission.
  • Valid California driver’s license and availability of an insured vehicle to travel within the California service area.

Responsibilities:

HR Coordination

  • Recruit employees, including creating and posting job advertisements, screening applicants, conducting phone interviews and coordinating next step interviews.
  • Conduct HR Orientations for new hires.
  • Conduct and document new hire check ins.
  • Perform diversified clerical and administrative activities.
  • Assist with HR related audits and surveys.
  • Assist with event and training coordination, including site communication, staffing needs, timelines, and needs from external vendors.
  • Scans images and documents into document retrieval system.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Volunteer Program Coordination

  • Maintain available position postings on relevant community volunteer recruitment sites.
  • Assist with onboarding and management of volunteers
  • Recruit volunteers on an as-needed basis, including creating and posting advertisements, screening applicants, and coordinating next step interviews
