Description:

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Reporting to the Director of Administration and assisting the Human Resources Generalist with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Benefits
Assist with employee benefits (including company group RRSP)
Training
Ensure employees’ training records are up to date
Health and Safety
Act as the company Health and Safety Representative
Manage meetings with the health and safety committee every trimester
Train new employees in matters related to the health and safety program
Administrative Functions
Verify timecards for payroll
Act as a payroll backup, as needed
Assist in the maintenance of policies and procedures
Create and issue HR announcements related to birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Assist with performance review follow up
Security Compliance
Assist in completing security assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and processing requests for security screenings (NATO Secret, etc.)
In collaboration with administration and IT personnel, verify that security controls are met.
Research
TYPICAL RELATED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of related experience
Miscellaneous Requirements
The work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l’anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l’extérieur de la province de Québec.
