JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Assistant position is responsible for assisting in the recruitment process, collecting and maintaining personnel records (addresses, salaries, etc.), preparing reports or reports as requested, and providing information to authorized individuals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a position with related area functions.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office platform.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Service-oriented and problem-solving oriented.
  • Fully bilingual (English, Spanish) both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and post job vacancies.
  • Review job applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Conduct phone interviews with job applicants to obtain and verify candidate-provided information.
  • Prepare and organize orientations for new employees.
  • Record data for each employee, including information such as addresses, salary changes, terminations, among others.
  • Provide guidance on frequently asked questions from applicants and/or employees regarding policies, benefits, and recruitment processes, among other things.
  • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs.
  • Collect and prepare reports and documents related to personnel activities. • Maintain human resources files and records updated.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of human resources files and records.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of human resources files and records to verify that all necessary documentation is collected and presented correctly.
  • Assist the Human Resources Manager with administrative tasks as requested.
  • May assist with payroll activities and address employee inquiries.
  • Organize internal and external training activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Perform, as needed by the company’s service requirement, other responsibilities or additional tasks required by their position or assigned to them.
