Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three years of experience in human resources or administrative field is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of general office management practices and procedures. Knowledge of job evaluation, concepts and principles.
Education Requirements:

EDUCATION:

Completion of two years of general college studies is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Good Working Knowledge in Reading, Writing, and Speaking English is required. This may be tested.

Responsibilities:

Incumbent is responsible for specific personnel functions performed at post. Major responsibility is position classification advisory role of all locally recruited positions. Other duties include awards program and other Locally Employed Staff programs. Maintains personnel records and files and prepares periodic and non-recurring reports. Reviews Position Description (PD) and Job Description Help Sheet (JDHS) documents for classification or re-classification to ensure completeness and submits the complete package in accordance with Regional Classification Center (RCC)’s procedures to initiate the formal position classification request. Coordinates post’s awards programs including promoting the program to encourage full use of its benefits, reviewing nominations to ensure compliance, documenting awards committee meeting, printing of certificates, and preparing and organizing for the actual ceremony. Responsible for administration and execution of the emergency and short-term hiring under Personal Service Agreement (PSA)-Limited employment mechanism. Works with the hiring officials on their short-term employment needs, and coordinates all further steps in processing of PSA-Limited, including funding confirmation, announcement, selection, pre-employment and hire. Makes sure that PSA-limited is executed properly in full compliance with all processing steps. Provides guidance to the Consulates and assists other HR teams in execution of this type of employment.
