As a Human Resources Business Partner at GTreasury, you will provide Human Resources support and direction for our Sydney office and overall APAC region. as well as supporting global initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex global environments while providing hands-on HR support to various business units. This will include aiding in the development and implementation of all human resources programs and policies, recruiting, fielding employee relations issues, and developing solutions to fulfill employee needs. This position reports to the Global HR Director, with a strong partnership to the Divisional Financial Controller and regional leaders.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years overall HR experience (exposure to recruiting, salary administration, employment law, training, and employee relations)
- Must be able to interact effectively with employees and all levels of management.
- Manage multiple processes, programs, procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations for action.
- Proven track record of effective, multi-tasked project management
- Professional maturity and ability to keep confidential information protected.
- Advanced computer skills – Excel, Word, HRIS systems, general report writing.
- Excellent listening, presentation, and consultative skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable HR initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on a range of HR matters, including talent management, employee relations, policies, performance management, and organizational design.
- Drive talent acquisition efforts for the APAC region, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding, to ensure the organization has the right talent in place to achieve its goals.
- Owns the regional onboarding process and hosts regional new hire orientations.
- Manages the regional offboarding process while includes exit interviews.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements while promoting a positive employee experience.
- Lead and facilitate employee development and training programs to build leadership capabilities and enhance employee engagement.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Partner with HR Director to ensure global consistency and alignment of HR practices and programs.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead or contribute to global HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Gain a deep business understanding that will help drive the people strategy and support core business priorities focused on organization design & effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, diversity, and overall business performance.
- Aligns performance management and reward strategies to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance across the business groups.
- Analyze data from HRIS system, surveys, exit interviews and more to support employee engagement efforts and identify recommend solutions for improvement.
- Identity training needs then create and deploy training.
- Stay current on HR best practices, trends, and legal developments to continuously improve HR processes and policies.
