The HRBP roles will be located at Northvolt Drei, our Gigafactory in Heide supporting our different teams with the broad spectrum of HR areas. All this in a fast-paced environment and with the mandate of building our organization, culture and processes along the way.
The HRBP will report directly to the VP People based in Heide/Hamburg. And you’ll be a part of a passionate, skilled and diverse company.
You have several years of experience from building a stellar employee life cycle over time and should have demonstrated a successful track record of organizational and people leadership.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • We are looking for a candidate with previous substantial experience in Human Resources, preferably in manufacturing companies
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related
  • A strategic thinker to support the definition of HR strategies as well as an excellent hands-on doer who gets things executed and does not mind getting into the details - you have to be the cliché “hands-on person”
  • You have solid knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment laws
  • You have previous proven experience in creating a culture of engagement, collaboration and teamwork. You have experience in leading people directly or indirectly – using positive leadership and managerial techniques
  • You are a great communication skills in written and verbal communication with fluency in English and German are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business in all aspects of HR on both the strategic and operational levels
  • Build HR processes from scratch
  • Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Talent & Performance Management
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Training and Performance
  • Build and maintain excellent and effective employee relations, as well as union-management relations
  • Managerial support, HR advising and coaching
  • HCM System implementation experience
    With a high-quality mindset and approach, you will be dedicated to building an excellent and functional organization starting from the early start of the company, playing a key role in supporting and coaching our managers and employees in all HR-related questions. With your passion and can-do attitude, you will take the lead in establishing, developing and maintaining Northvolt’s HR processes and policies locally. You will ensure that processes, systems and work routines are as optimized as possible and aligned with business needs and strategy.

    As part of your umbrella of responsibilities, you will, together with our managers, ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource law requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, representing the organization at hearings, and handling the relation with the unions and the alike.
