As a Signet Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), you will partner with leadership to support key initiatives that make us stronger: organization design, culture transformation, career development, talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning and employee relations. This role will serve as a consultant to leadership, act as a Team Member champion and change agent.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification a plus.
Years of Job-Related Experience: Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a Human Resource generalist role including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, Team Member relations, diversity, performance management, talent management and federal and state respective employment laws.
Technical/Other Skills: Workday, MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of HR processes and ability to achieve impact and influence through quality information, access and awareness. Service driven with strong customer orientation. Strong change management skills required. Ability to work well autonomously and with a team in a fast-paced, dead line-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and lead within client groups to assist in achieving goals: focused on providing options and an informed opinion to guide decision making
  • Consultant to leaders on Human Resource related issues: including performance management, talent acquisition, Team Member development, talent review and succession planning
  • Acts as a change agent when managing organizational change where it relates to core HR activities (department restructures, severances, new policies, etc.)
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Works closely with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention strategy
  • Manage and resolve complex Team Member relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Team Members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Ability to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with peers and colleagues across the organization as well as internal and external clients
  • Ability to work with and positively influence peer and Senior Management
  • Partners actively with different functions within the organization to achieve business objectives
  • Responsible for participating on HR projects from implementation to completion and for using project management methodologies and tools, as appropriate
