REQUIREMENTS:

  • Third level qualification in human resources, business management or relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience working in a similar role where similar duties were executed
  • Proficient in computer skills, with the capacity to adeptly navigate HR Information Systems and generate reports using relevant applications via MOS, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to evaluate and reflect in order to competently make and present informed decisions reflective of the values of the organisation
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenWillingness to travel occasionally as required

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

Act as a strategic partner in critical business activities, providing consultative and supportive services to support a scaling business and ensure alignment with HR strategies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with managers to ensure the delivery of best practice people management in assigned business areas and improve employee engagement and performance
  • Implement initiatives aimed at increasing employee satisfaction and engagement to foster a positive work environment
  • Assist with developing and leading comprehensive on-boarding and induction programs to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organisation
  • Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with the Talent Acquisition specialist to ensure an exceptional experience for all candidates
  • Act as the first point of contact for line managers in assisting and advising on ER and employee well-being issues, with a focus onearly intervention and alternative dispute resolution
  • Analyse and report on key HR metrics using excel, delivering these insights to relevant stakeholders and the SLT to inform strategic decisions
  • Oversee the preparation, management and maintenance of all employee-related documents to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Effectively manage all aspects of admin tasks that occur through the HR function, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
